Maxx Coleman has won the $775,000 first prize at the 2015 River Poker Series Main Event after beating Joseph Skinner in heads-up action.

Maxx Coleman has picked up one of the juiciest first prizes of the year winning $775,000 after cutting a three-way deal at the $2,500 buy-in River Poker Series Main Event at the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville.

The event organizers laid on a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool. 1,164 entrants ensured there was no sweat. Various top pros ran deep, including: Olivier Busquet (13th), Lance Garcia (22nd) and Justin Oliver (37th), but it was Barry Hutter and Jose Montes who would headline the final nine.
