IGB affiliate to host affiliate focused seminars during ICE

iGB Affiliate is set to host free seminars focused on the hidden opportunity of affiliate marketing in the USA

January 2017 (London) – iGB Affiliate, the most respected information provider for the igaming affiliate market, have announced today they will be hosting a series of free seminars to take place during ICE Totally Gaming on Thursday 9th February between 10.30 and 13:00. The seminars titled “Affiliate Marketing in the USA: A Hidden Opportunity” will focus on how affiliates can drive additional revenues from the current and future USA market, including iGaming, social gaming, sports betting, daily fantasy sports and ilottery.

The sessions will focus on what the rules and limitations are within the current regulatory framework and where future opportunities are. In addition, they will focus on other online products emerging as an option for affiliates in the US market, such as social gaming, daily fantasy sports and ilottery.

“In the affiliate market there is a common misconception that there are limited affiliate revenues in North America, or that the barriers to entry are too high. This just isn’t true and the recent acquisition of playNJ.com by Catena Media is testament to the kinds or revenues available.” commented Alex Pratt, Managing Director of iGaming Business. “This series of webinars will help bridge that disconnect and provide our audience with both the tools and knowledge to maximize this hidden opportunity both now and in the future.” Pratt continued.

North American law-makers to exchange best practice in gaming legislation with their peers in London

Helene Keeley, State Representative from Delaware and William Coley, State Senator from Ohio to participate in the International Legislators’ Day, hosted by the British Parliamentary All Party Gaming & Betting Group, and in ICE Totally Gaming.

Visiting London on the invitation of the Co-Chair of the British Parliamentary group (APPG), Philip Davies MP, the two American legislators will participate in a series of activities aimed at providing legislators and regulators with opportunities to exchange best practice in gaming regulation that they can adopt in their own jurisdictions.

The International Legislators’ Day also includes a visit to ICE Totally Gaming, the world’s largest gaming exhibition, visited by close to 30 000 attendees from around the world.

“As online gaming and sports betting remain on the legislative agenda in the United States, European markets, where both of these areas have been regulated for years, can offer some advice in how best to shape regulatory frameworks. I am looking forward to learning from my counterparts in the UK and other countries, and also to offering our perspective on policy goals in the United States”, commented Rep. Helene Keeley from Delaware, who will also address the ICE audience at its annual Regulators’ Lunch on Tuesday, 7 February, the first day of the show.

Dutch Eredivisie to follow Spain & France by creating FIFA17 eLeague

The Dutch Eredivisie has followed the example set by France and Spain by setting up an 18 team eLeague that will mirror the nation’s premier football league over the course of 17 rounds of FIFA17.

There are no shadow punches when you play FIFA17 against your best mate. The only smiley faces are sitting on your dinner plate next to your baked beans. It’s an Alpha male thing. Every loss is like a smack in the face, and there is always a few quid on the line to raise the stakes

It’s at times like these where gambling adds something extra to the party. The desire to win is amplified; the risky type of chemicals start boiling your blood. And so it’s only a matter of time before betting on the outcome of digital sports matches like FIFA17 will become more popular than the real thing.

And it’s happening.
