Dzmitry Urbanovich.

PokerStars EPT Media Coordinator, Mad Harper, suggested the guys and gals in the European Poker Tour (EPT) media room should create a short cut on their keyboard for that name.

It was sound advice.

You'll Never Guess Las Vegas' Caesars Entertainment's Latest Bad Idea

Their biggest subsidiary is in bankruptcy, and the newly built High Roller in Las Vegas — the centerpiece of a $550 million investment in Sin City — looks like a disaster a year into operation. Instead, they’re pushing forward on a $126 million convention center investment in Atlantic City, a city that’s watching casinos go bankrupt left and right.

March Madness 2015: Weekend action heavy on drama

If I had a dollar every time I thought the NCAA tournament would be turned upside its head this weekend, I’d probably have enough money to score Mayweather-Pacquiao tickets.

First of all, Kentucky is through to the Final Four. But unlike its past three games, the Wildcats had to survive an incredible scare from a gritty Notre Dame team that came within a three-pointer at the buzzer from scoring one of the most memorable upsets in this year’s tournament.

The 68-66 final score is the closest winning margin Kentucky has had all year, but at this point in the tournament, I think it’s safe to say that they’ll take any win any way they can get it. Still, the Fighting Irish more than lived up to its nickname, taking the fight to the still-undefeated Wildcats throughout the game, even taking the lead in the dying stages of the game.

But the Wildcats found a way to win the game and that’s really all that matters at this point.

Giants’ Mara Name Still linked with Horse Racing

By Tom Pedulla, America’s Best Racing

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – The way Chris Mara sees it, gambling runs deep in his DNA.

His grandfather, Tim, is best known for founding the New York Giants football team in 1925. Less known is that Tim wheeled and dealed as a legal bookmaker. He became so well known at his craft that a photograph of him still hangs at Belmont Park in Elmont, N.Y.

Chris, 58, has been going to the races since he was 8 or 9 and enjoyed being around the sport since then. He parked cars at Yonkers Raceway when he was a teenager and dabbled by taking a few small shares in Standardbreds as he grew older.

He always knew he wanted to take the plunge into Thoroughbred ownership, but he wanted to be sure to spread the risk with other partners. The key was finding the right mix of owners since the top priority, after all, is having fun. And he wanted to make sure he had a reasonable shot at success.

Today, he and his wife, Kathleen, are “all in” with Itsaknockout, who came in fourth in Saturday’s Florida Derby race.
