ESLGaming to Create an eSports Hall of Fame; Tiger Woods Will Have to Wait Another Decade to Get Into Golf’s Version

ESLGaming has announced plans to preserve the rich history of one of the world’s fastest growing sports by announcing their intention to create an eSports Hall of Fame, and Tiger Woods will have to wait another decade to find a place in golfing’s version after a change in rules.

It’s been a busy week for Google algorithms searching for the phrase ‘Hall of Fame’.

Country Music stars Charlie Daniels, Randy Travis and Fred Foster are to be added to the Country Music Hall of Fame; the Electronic Sports League (ESL) announced plans to create an eSports Hall of Fame, and Tiger Woods will have to wait a decade to get into Golf’s Hall of Fame after a rather drastic stipulation change.

I don’t know too much about Country Music, and this is not the NME, but what I will do in the spirit of fairness is give you some Country Music to listen to while I wail on about eSports and golf. Without further ado, here is the latest Country Music Hall of Fame Inductee – looking like an atrocious Rod Stewart – Charlie Daniels.

Blizzard Entertainment Backtrack Over Video Game Butt Shot

Video game and eSports outfit Blizzard Entertainment has decided to withdraw a controversial pose showing an impressive butt cleavage on a female character from their new shooter Overwatch prompting Lee Davy to try and figure out what this all means.

When I say ‘Lara Craft: Tomb Raider‘ what’s the first thing that pops into your head?

For me, it’s big bouncy bra busting boobies.

I remember shunning whole weekends with the lads so I could watch her climbing pyramids, jumping into lakes, and shooting the shit out of bad guys.

Antonio Esfandiari Wins His First WSOPC Gold Ring at The Bike

‘The Magician’ Antonio Esfandiari has won his first-ever World Series of Poker Circuit gold ring after overcoming a tough final table at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles.

When Antonio Esfandiari made the final table of the $1,675 buy-in World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) event at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles, there were no lunges, no hysterics, and no manhandling of his manhandle underneath the table.

Instead, the Magician was all business. And he needed to be. Out of the 756 entrants that competed in this event, the final nine included a few decent sparring partners. However, things were made considerably easier for Esfandiari when he entered the heads-up phase with an 11-1 chip advantage against Jamie Gold.

Yahoo says no more credit card deposits for daily fantasy sports, PayPal okay

Internet giant Yahoo has informed users of its daily fantasy sports platform that they can no longer make deposits using their credit cards.

On Wednesday, Yahoo users reported received emails from the company saying it would “no longer accept credit card deposits into Yahoo Sports Daily Fantasy accounts.” The new restriction went into effect immediately.

Yahoo stressed that it would continue to accept DFS deposits using the PayPal online payment processing service. Yahoo also said it would “continue to evaluate all payment methods and will look to implement other methods if they become available.”

PayPal issued its own statement saying it was also continually reviewing and considering “ongoing developments in relation to Daily Fantasy Sports, including the announcements by DraftKings and FanDuel of their temporary withdrawal from certain states and the passage of legislation and regulations in other states.” But PayPal insisted it “continues to process payments for these businesses in states where they offer their services.”
