Seminole Tribe drags Jacksonville electronic gambling parlor operators to court

The Seminole Tribe of Florida has lodged a string of anti-trust cases against the operators and landlords of electronic gambling parlors (EGPs) for violating the tribe’s exclusive right to offer slots and other video gambling systems in the state.

At least 26 personalities were named respondents in the lawsuit that the Seminoles filed before the Fourth Judicial Circuit Court of Duval County, the First Coast News reported on Thursday.

In their seven-page petition posted on the news outlet’s website, the Seminoles accused 11 operators and 15 landlords of infringing “upon the Tribe’s right to substantial exclusivity in the operation of casino-style gambling.”

It would be recalled that the Seminoles and State of Florida agreed in 2010 that the tribe will pay Florida its due revenue share in exchange for casino gambling exclusivity.

14th December, 2017 – Leading mobile slots specialist Play’n GO has launched Sea Hunter, a marine-based slot that takes players to the depths of the ocean on the hunt for some slippery customers.

Players plunge into an underwater world where, amongst others, killer whales, stingrays, and jellyfish must be bullseyed for some explosive wins in this engaging three-reel video slot, which targets a submerged shooting match across five fixed pay-lines.

Winning on successive spins is the key to activating the cannons, whose power-meter loads up through four exciting chambers in accordance with any consecutive wins.

From Growth Gun, through Sticky Shot, and onto Wild Warhead, the matching symbols and re-spins ramp up the fun and the rewards. However, Multiply Mortar, achieved after six straight wins, is the ultimate weapon and current favourite for unlocking a huge, guaranteed payout from one free Win Spin.

Dragon INC. is on course to complete world’s largest ICO

Extending the Pre-ICO Due to Considerable Strain on Both the Bitcoin and Ethereum Networks

(Hong Kong, China – December 14, 2017) — Dragon Inc., a fintech company that underpins the casino gaming sector with blockchain technology, launched its Pre-ICO (Initial Coin Offering) on Friday December 8th, 2017, a subscription round of funding that allows the public to buy the company’s cryptocurrency. The Pre-ICO was set to end on December 15, 2017.

Due to the extreme congestion on both the Bitcoin and Ethereum Networks, ICO investors or contributors have faced significant challenges when transferring their Bitcoin and Ethereum to participate in the Dragon Pre-ICO.  Dragon Inc. considered delaying the start of the Pre-ICO but instead has decided to extend the Pre-ICO for a further 2 weeks, until December 31, 2017, to give a fair and equal opportunity to all prospective investors.

“We respect the community because we promised that we were going to launch on December 8, 2017. These market conditions are beyond our control, so we decided to extend the period of the Pre-ICO until the end of December to allow the community to take part in the Pre- ICO.“, explains Chris Ahmad, Dragon’s CEO.

Camelot’s good causes funding under scrutiny

British spending watchdogs are scratching their heads as they try to reconcile how UK National Lottery operator Camelot UK Lotteries Ltd. (Camelot) managed to grow its profits over a seven-year period but failed to boost its good causes contributions.

The Guardian reported that the UK parliament launched an inquiry into whether Camelot had been remiss in its duty to shore up the profits of the National Lottery good causes.

Meg Hillier, chairperson of Westminster’s public accounts committee, expressed suspicion that Camelot might not be operating within the National Lottery Act after the National Audit Office (NAO) reported that the income for good causes fell by 15 percent.

Hillier pointed out that the dwindling income for good causes was in stark contrast with Camelot’s profits, which she said grew by 122 percent in the past seven years.

In this talk Dr. Wright will share his vision for “Bitcoin Cash World” where Bitcoin is used on a daily basis by merchants, consumers, banks, and other participants across the world’s economy. Among other things, he will explain:

21 questions online poker rooms should answer (part 1)

Inspired by a Bernadette Jiwa blog post entitled 21 Questions for Creators and Innovators, Lee Davy, tries answering them wearing the hat of an online poker room founder.

This morning, I received an email from the marketing genius, Bernadette Jiwa, called 21 Questions For Creators and Innovators and it’s got the cogs whirring. As I search through the Internet looking for scraps of poker news like seagulls looking for castaway French Fries in a seaside resort, I wonder if the online poker rooms who so desperately vie for our attention, see us, hear us, make us feel loved?

So, as I look out across the veranda at the eagle soaring effortlessly in the bright blue sky, I’ve decided to take a look at Bernadette’s questions and share my thoughts when it comes to the online poker rooms adherence to them.

Before I begin, it’s important to explain that Bernadette believes that answering these 21 questions will bring a company closer to their intention.

Three live tournament results to catch up on including a World Series of Poker Circuit gold ring for Jared Jaffee, Ari Engel wins the Heartland Poker Tour Player of the Year, and Mike Dentale beats a sick final table to win the Card Player Tour Main Event at the Venetian.

Jared Jaffee has earned himself another trinket after taking down the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) $1,675 buy-in Main Event at The Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles.

Jaffee defeated a tasty field of 687 entrants to capture the $211,220 first prize after beating Brendan Baksh in heads-up action. It’s the third major title of Jaffee’s career.

In 2013, the 36-year-old won the World Poker Tour (WPT) bestbet Jacksonville Fall Poker Scramble for $252,749, and a year later, he won a $1,500 Mixed-Max No-Limit Hold’em Event at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) for $405,428.

EPL review week 17: Wins for City and United; Newcastle plunging fast

The conclusion of our midweek two-parter sees both the blue and red halves of Manchester pick up three points, and Newcastle plummets to a point above the relegation zone with a defeat at home to Everton.

Swansea 0 v 4 Man City

Manchester City continued their unstoppable title run with their 15th consecutive Premier League victory against hapless Swansea at the Liberty Stadium. The four-nil thrashing means City remain 11-points clear of their nearest rivals Manchester United, who won 1-0 at home to Bournemouth.

Swansea City’s Premier League survival won’t hinge on games against the Big Six, but Paul Clement and his board will be concerned that Swansea’s sixth defeat in their nine home games means they have the worst home record in the division. In contrast, City has won all nine of their away matches.
