Ambassadör Events takeover signals an exciting, new era for iGaming Idol
Now coming up to its fourth year, iGaming Idol certainly needs no introduction. Now a mainstay on the gaming industry’s social calendar, iGaming Idol is an innovative awards event which seeks to celebrate the outstanding talent, passion and achievement of the rising stars within the industry, actively promote charity fund raising to benefit the greater community and provide top-notch entertainment throughout.
But 2019 will see a complete overhaul for iGaming Idol. The organisation has announced that Ambassadör Events, the expert event managers, have now become majority shareholders of the company. Moving forward, they will manage and organise iGaming Idol together with Mr Michael Pedersen, one of the co-founders of iGaming Idol concept and a founding shareholder.
Together with Mr Pedersen, Ambassadör Events plan to continue in the much-touted iGaming Idol tradition; to expand and develop the concept even further by launching several exciting and innovative projects. Kicking off these distinctive events, the new stakeholders will launch an annual Golf tournament for C-levels, named iGaming Invitational, which will be organised for the very first time at the Royal Malta Golf Club on the 8th of May 2019. Of course, Ambassadör Events and Mr Pedersen as the new full stakeholders of iGaming Idol, have several other inspiring projects in the pipeline which will be unveiled as the new year progresses.
Pierre Lindh, Managing Director Ambassadör Events Ltd said, “iGaming Idol has been a success story since the concept was first launched in 2016. Already raising more than €30,000 to charitable causes, not only is iGaming Idol helping to recognise talent within the industry we all love, but we are also helping those in need. As the island’s premium events management company, specialising in the iGaming industry, we cannot be more excited to now fully commit to this project and take it to new heights. We would also like to thank Ramona Mifsud, Christian Sammut and Jeff Buttigieg for the amazing journey we have had together during the last three years, to build and establish this project.”
