At the Friends of the IDF gala at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City, Sheldon Adelson, the chairman and CEO of the Las Vegas Sands Corporation, told the FOX Business Network’s Liz Claman that he is planning to expand his empire in Las Vegas, citing favorable economic conditions. “The economy depends upon tourism, and the tourism has been improving in Las Vegas for the last year or two,” Adelson said.
