Commissioners want to promote Mountaineer land use

Hancock County commissioners say they are ready to assist with the promotion of newly-released land owned by Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort. At a time when declining gaming revenues are hurting the county’s bottom line, Mountaineer’s decision to make more than 1,300 acres available for development could be a boon for the county, commissioners said.
