Online gaming software outfit GAN (formerly GameAccount Network) has inked two new casino clients for its free-play Simulated Gaming product.
On Tuesday, GAN announced that it had inked a deal to provide Atlantic City’s market-leading Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa with GAN’s Simulated Gaming free-play online casino product. The Borgata is also the market leader in New Jersey’s regulated real-money online gambling market.
GAN says it expects the Borgata’s new free-play offering to launch on both web and mobile sometime in H1 2016, pending regulatory approval. The deal marks GAN’s first Atlantic City signing and comes just two months after the company signed its first Las Vegas deal with American Casino & Entertainment Properties.
GAN CEO Dermot Smurfit said the deal will allow the Borgata to maintain a relationship with the majority of its customers who reside outside New Jersey. The Simulated Gaming site will be tied in with the casino’s My Borgata Rewards program, allowing players to cash in the points they earn online for real-world goodies on their next trip to AC.
