HTML5 real-money casino game based on Atari arcade classic to be showcased by company at ICE Totally Gaming
Pariplay Ltd., a Douglas, Isle of Man-based gaming software company serving iGaming operators, land-based casinos and iLotteries, has announced the launch of the real-money online slot Black Widow®, based on the iconic Atari Interactive arcade game. Developed by Pariplay in HTML5, Black Widow® is optimized for play on all devices and the company will demonstrate the new title at its ICE Totally Gaming conference booth in London, from 2nd to 4th February 2016.
In Q2 2014, Pariplay agreed an exclusive strategic partnership with Atari Interactive, the computer and video game entertainment corporation, to develop real-money online casino slots based on a series of Atari arcade games. The new Black Widow® slot developed by Pariplay’s in-house development studio, which has brought to market over 100 online slots, instant win games, scratch cards, bingo and keno games, is the first title to be launched under the Atari partnership.
The original Atari video arcade game Black Widow® was released in 1982 and involved players maneuvering the eponymous spider around its web while shooting various insects to win bonuses. Instead of winning bonus points and shooting beetles, mosquitoes and hornets, Pariplay’s 5-reel, 3-line Black Widow® slot allows players to win real money by taking a simple spin in a sophisticated online casino setting.
