West Ham has extended their shirt sponsorship deal with Betway, and Sheffield United take on Betsafe as their new in-stadium sponsor.
West Ham has extended their sponsorship deal with the online gambling company Betway. The pair originally shook hands on a £6m per year three-year deal back in 2015, but are so happy with each other’s company they have extended the contract until 2020 and forked out an additional £4m per year.
The Betway logo will continue to adorn the main strip, training ground kit, and anywhere you like around the London Stadium. The deal is the seventh most lucrative in the Premier League. West Ham finished seventh last season, their best performance in the club’s history.
West Ham Vice-Chairman, Karren Brady, told the press that the Claret & Blue brand ‘has grown faster than any other major league club in the Premier League.’ The recent move to the London Stadium is a big reason why.
