888 Holding forgets about its tempestuous relationship with William Hill for a second to focus on growth in Romania. The online gambling operator is set to launch 888.ro in the newly regulated online gambling market on September 1.

The Romanian version will crush the 888Casino, 888Poker, and 888Sport brands into a one stop shop. Players will be able to choose a localised language and currency version.

888 Holdings CEO, Itai Frieberger, said that he was delighted with the move promising to expose local players to the ‘global brand’ while maintaining a ‘unique, local flavour.’
