Aging gamblers and lack of interest by younger generation will challenge regional casinos, report says

Regional casinos will struggle because their primary customers are aging and have less discretionary income while younger generations show little interest in gambling, Moody’s Investors Service concludes in a recent report. In its report, “The Walls are Closing in on Regional Casinos,” Moody’s specially questions whether the casinos will be able to win over millennials to take the place of baby boomers.
