WinStar Farm announced Nov. 9 that Battle of Midway, winner of the Nov. 3 Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile (G1) at Del Mar, has been retired from racing and will take up stud duty in 2018. His fee will be $20,000, stands and nurses.
