Beer, lottery bills advance

A bill to force Anheuser-Busch to sell two Kentucky distributorships and another bill to ban the use of credit cards to pay for Internet lottery games have both advanced in the state legislature. Speaker Greg Stumbo ‘s House Bill 168 — which aims to preserve Kentucky’s three-tier system that attempts to separate alcohol producers, distributors and retailers — passed the House 67-31 on Tuesday, The Courier-Journal reports.
