A Charleston man who claimed a $1 million lottery ticket this week says he will use a chunk of the money to help his church that was damaged by flooding, according to an announcement from the South Carolina Education Lottery. The winner, who chose not to be identified, said he had been praying for some money to help his church, according to lottery spokeswoman Holli Armstrong.
