An elderly Golden Gate couple told Collier County Sheriff’s Office deputies they were swindled out of a large amount of cash Thursday by two men who promised to share lottery winnings with them. Two men who claimed to have won $500,000 in the lottery asked an older couple to exchange the winning ticket for cash.
