The 74-year-old Cortland County man has been a chef, a nurse, a garage door company foreman and currently, a town historian. McCall, who lives in Truxton, won the jackpot in the Extra Play scratch-off game, making him the first winner of the four top prizes available through this new game, according to a news release from the New York State Gaming Commission.
