The Global Poker League (GPL) is the most innovative poker initiative since man stood upright walked over to a mammoth and started hacking away at its legs.

It begins February 25th in Los Angeles, as part of the second iteration of the Global Poker Index (GPI) American Poker Awards (APA), and Chris Moneymaker is the first person revealed as a franchise leader.
