Russia may soon introduce new rules for supervision of the activities of betting companies and lottery sphere operators.

Russian Gaming Weekend reported that the Russian Ministry of Finance had announced during the Russian Gaming Week held last June 2 to 3 that it has already prepared a draft order which will greenlight the new regulations of the tax officers to control the activities of betting companies and lottery operators.

Citing the draft order, the gaming news website said that a new procedure for supervision does not contain excessive restrictions for entrepreneurs but it brings them additional responsibilities.

At present, the proposal has withstand the anti-corruption and public examination of the government.
