A suspected thief was rushed to hospital with multiple injuries after plunging from the roof of an historic building which featured in a TV conservation show . The building was known as the Saracen’s Head when, with the neighbouring Old Grammar School, it won the BBC’s Restoration series – and a 2.5 million Heritage Lottery Fund prize – in 2004.
