The 40 staff members, who all work at Hull City Council, matched five numbers and the bonus ball in the Lotto draw on Saturday, May 30. They found out they had won when syndicate leader, Susan Beech, 62, checked the tickets the day after the draw. Fellow team member Deborah Graves, 50, was the first to realise they had a winning ticket and called Mrs Beech, who verified the win with Camelot.
