Maximum Hope Foundation Teams Up With CSOP and the SHRPO For Charity Poker Event

Brad Garret’s Maximum Hope Foundation teams up with the Charity Series of Poker and the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open to raise funds for families who care for children suffering from life-limiting illnesses.

Nathalie Himmelrich, who had to deal with the grief of the death of one of her twin daughters aged just three days old once said, “We do not have control over many things in life and death, but we do have control over the meaning we give it.”

The comedian and actor Brad Garrett understands this quote more than most after witnessing family friends losing an 11-year old boy after a fight against cancer.

The ‘meaning’ that presented itself for Garrett was to create the Maximum Hope Foundation (named after his two children Max and Hope) to help families cope with the issues that arise when caring for a child with a life-limiting illness.
