More than 20 projects will go on show on Tuesday to illustrate how different groups and communities in the North East have marked the centenary of the First World War. The Sharing the North East at War 1914-18 event will be held in the Great Hall of Newcastle Discovery Museum , where around 1915 a picture was taken of ranks of Lord Kitchener’s recruits.
