PennLive: Pa. lottery spent $13,000 for executive's commute

An executive with the Pennsylvania Lottery charged the lottery for $13,150 for commuting expenses in an arrangement where he was allowed to be based in Pittsburgh and commute to the lottery’s Middletown headquarters, PennLive reports. The arrangement dates back to the lottery’s appointment of Eric Grubbs, a Pittsburgh resident, as the deputy executive for field operations in May. The lottery officials at the time relocated the position from lottery headquarters to its Pittsburgh office.
