As a result of brisk ticket sales, Georgia Lottery officials announced today that Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot was bumped from $450 million to $485 million. Six winning tickets worth $10,000 were sold in Woodstock, East Point, Columbus and Athens from Saturday’s drawing.
