Two people believed to be part of an international ring of scammers who prey on the elderly were arrested after they tricked an 81-year-old Twin Peaks resident out of $300 with a phony lottery scheme, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said. LeShay Williams, 25, of Colton, and Larry Travis, 55 of Rialto, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy, theft by fraud and elder abuse.
