Since taking office five months ago, State Treasurer Deborah Goldberg has pulled in thousands of dollars in donations from Lottery employees, liquor distributors and lawyers at the high-powered firm, Mintz Levin – all of whom her office either oversees or does business with, a Herald review found. The donations come as Goldberg has actively sought to restore her depleted campaign account, holding at least four fundraisers to push her account from just $10,000 in mid-April to nearly $80,000 in two months.
