TCSJohnHuxley unveil partially submerged ‘Ocean Blackjack’ at Vanuatu casino

Gaming products supplier TCSJOHNHUXLEY has unveiled what it’s calling “the world’s first seawater blackjack table.”

We looked long and hard at the calendar to ensure that this wasn’t April 1, but the company appears serious about having installed the partially submerged gaming table on the beach of the Iririki Island Resort on the South Pacific island of Vanuatu.

Guest of the property’s Jewel Casino now have the option of doffing their shoes and wading out into the surf to gamble away the kids’ college fund playing blackjack with the waves lapping up against the legs of their stools.

The manufacturers insist that the swim-up gaming table is made from “high grade steel metallic filings to resist corrosion” and a wooden frame hewn from “Marine grade material.” Once assembled, the entire leg arrangement is sealed to guard against “moisture ingress.”
