IT’S DISAPPOINTING – but not surprising – to hear that the private company running the state’s lottery system is still not meeting its initial projections. With more than a decade remaining on the 15-year contract pushed through by the Christie administration, Democrats are right to question whether the first two years of a privatized lottery system are benefiting the state.
