Aside from New Jersey, another state is also reportedly gearing up to cash in on legalized sports betting as soon as the U.S. Supreme Court decides to strike down the Professional and Amateur Sports Professional Act of 1992 (PASPA).
Delaware is preparing to roll out its professional and out-of-state college sports betting offerings should the high court decide in favor of New Jersey’s petition, Delaware Online reported.
State Finance Director Rick Geisenberger said Delaware may be able to introduce betting on professional sports within weeks after the Supreme Court issued its ruling, which could come as early as June.
At the moment, Delaware’s offerings are limited to parlays or multi-game betting on football.
Irish FM shelves double tax on betting amid job loss warnings
Irish bookmakers are in for a late Christmas treat after Ireland has finally decided not to impose double tax on betting.
The Irish Independent reported that Irish Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe is giving the proposal a pass for now following warnings from several gambling firms that it will only result in job losses.
Donohoe disclosed that the Department of Finance received at least 13 submissions, all of which were painting a grim future for the industry should the double tax plan pushed through. Eight of the 13 were from the betting industry while two were from the horse racing industry.
An addiction advocacy service and two individuals also filed their respective submissions against the “potentially damaging” tax extension. They all agreed that the plan would lead to business closures and job losses.

mBit Casino Adds Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Dogecoin
It has just been announced that mBit Casino will now support 3 new cryptocurrencies, making them one of the first major Bitcoin casinos to support Dogecoin as well as 3 of the 5 largest cryptocurrencies based on market capitalization. Starting today, players can gamble online at mBitCasino.com using Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and Dogecoin.
Before mBit Casino added support for these new currencies, gamblers were limited to playing online with Bitcoin. As cryptocurrencies and altcoins continue to gain popularity, more and more Bitcoin owners are diversifying their holdings with digital currencies like Litecoin, Dogecoin and Bitcoin Cash.
Recent Issues with Bitcoin
All of the recent problems associated with the scaling of Bitcoin (such as increasing TX fees and slower confirmation times) have made it more difficult for crypto enthusiasts to gamble online, as the options for casinos who support cryptocurrencies like LTC, DOGE and BCH is almost non-existent.

Bournemouth 3 v 3 West Ham
Eddie Howe has received a lot of praise since arriving in the Premier League – even touted as a potential England manager – but I stick by my Clint Eastwood size guns, his board will fire him before the end of the season.
