Clarion Gaming is taking its message to South America with Chairman Julian Graves heading a mini delegation which will take in eight countries and meetings with senior government officials, trade association officials and gaming operators drawn from 15 countries. Graves is being accompanied by Portuguese native and Clarion Conference Producer, Liliana Costa, who is playing a major role in the development and delivery of content for Juegos Miami which takes place across May 31st to June 3rd 2016 at The Biltmore, Coral Gables, Miami.
Speaking ahead of his 15-day tour, Julian Graves said: “The success of all of our gaming brands is based on delivering professional and most importantly relevant events for the sectors and the jurisdictions they serve. Our philosophy is that you can only achieve this by getting out into the market and talking directly with the influencers and the operators on the ground. South and Latin America is an increasingly important region for gaming and as key providers to the global industry we believe it’s of paramount importance to engage with and to listen to its needs and requirements – wherever they may be situated.”
This philosophy has been evident in the process by which Juegos Miami has become a reality as Julian Graves explained: “We have been talking with and listening to all sectors of the gaming industry active in Pan-Latin America and the Caribbean for over a year about what they wanted from a new style gaming event. The upshot is a totally new concept predicated around relationship building, and top level networking set against a strong commercial backdrop.
“Juegos Miami is about bringing the right people together, at the right time and in the right way. The industry has been asking for an event that will truly embrace the region and reflect an entire continent of gaming excellence. The response to the first Juegos Miami has been extremely encouraging indeed and I am confident that it will meet the business expectations of the market.”
