The Kansas Lottery has granted a 90-day extension to the Kansas Crossing casino group for it to start work on a casino in southeast Kansas. In July, after a months-long competition, the commission awarded the Kansas Crossing group the license to build and manage a $70 million casino in Crawford County, near Pittsburg.
