State Dept. of Revenue names new lottery administrator

Chandler announced Tuesday that Pat Lashore, a DOR policy adviser and former deputy lottery administrator, will take over for Mike Edmonds on Jan. 10. Edmonds told his staff in November he planned to resign Dec. 18. He did not say why he was leaving. Asked to elaborate earlier this month on why Edmonds chose to step down, DOR spokeswoman Stephanie Marquis said political appointees get moved around and replaced.
