A Michigan woman who won a $1 million lottery prize didn’t know about it for months, after leaving the ticket in a pile of mail. Lottery officials say Linda Tuttle of Kentwood stepped forward Tuesday with a winning ticket from the May 26 Mega Millions drawing.

Gamblit Gaming teams up with Playboy to develop real-money gaming
California-based Gamblit Gaming has clinched a partnership with Playboy Enterprises to develop new real money gambling games.
The partnership will release new games in 2016 in the skill-based category (where players can bet real money on outcomes for games that require skill (rather than pure luck) for the UK mobile market as well as U.S. land-based casinos in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.

Sands gives up on in Florida, new target: Georgia
After six years of lobbying for a casino in Florida, Sheldon Adelson is calling it a day.
Sands’ Florida casino lobbyist Nick Iarossi has confirmed Tuesday that Las Vegas Sands Corp has cancelled all consulting contracts for public relations and lobbying to get a destination for a casino and resort in Florida.
A push to bring resort casinos to South Florida is dead for this year’s legislative session and Rep. Dana Young filed a substitute bill in April, dropping casino proposal for two high-end, high-class convention-and-casino resorts in South Florida, one each in Broward and Miami-Dade counties.
Iarossi also noted that a possible renewal of the gambling compact between the state and the Seminole Tribe for the exclusive rights to offer blackjack in Florida, played a big factor on Sands’ decision.

DoubleU Games to increase global market share in social casino games
Korean social casino games maker DoubleU Games Co. aims to expand its business by drawing more funds from the local stock market.
DoubleU Games has unveiled a plan for an initial public offering (IPO) on the tech-heavy KOSDAQ in November. The company looks to raise around 250 billion won ($209.8m), the largest amount of initial funds raised for a KOSDAQ-listed company.
The company announced its plan to list their shares on the KOSDAQ in April due to Korean bourse’s relatively cheap operating expenses and better valuation.
Kim Ga-ram, chief executive officer of DoubleU, said that the funds will be used to beef up marketing and to diversify its target markets to Southeast Asia, Latin America and Russia.
