World Poker Fund Ink Deal With 1800pr

World Poker Fund Holdings Inc. has inked a deal with 1-800-PublicRelations, Inc. in a bid to improve their corporate and brand message across all platforms.

Who and what are the World Poker Fund Holdings inc (WPFH)?

If I have to try so hard to figure this out and still end up treading water something tells me the WPFH aren’t firing the very best marketing missiles they can get their hands on.

My Google Alerts has been peppered with WPFH propaganda since the summer of 2015 when a host of celebrities were linked with the much vaunted launch.

Elaine Wynn files lawsuit against ex-hubby Steve to regain control of $900m stake

Casino operator Wynn Resorts has filed for trademark protection of its in-development casino project in Everett, Massachusetts.

On Monday, Boston Business Journal reported that Wynn had applied to the US Patent & Trademark Office to acquire the rights to the name Wynn Boston Harbor. The $2b project, which expects to break ground in July, was formerly known as Wynn Everett. The application was filed on March 15, the same day company CEO Steve Wynn gave reporters a preview of the property’s layout.

In less positive news, Steve’s ex-wife Elaine Wynn filed an amended lawsuit against her former hubby on Monday. The suit seeks to reestablish her control over her 9.4% stake in Wynn Resorts, which she hasn’t had since divorcing Steve for the second time in 2010.

The couple signed an agreement that same year giving Steve control over their combined shares, which allowed him to wield control of the company, particularly following the unceremonious forced redemption of Kazuo Okada’s holdings in 2012, a Pearl-Harbor-in-reverse surprise attack that remains before the courts to this day.

Will the real Amaya CEO please stand up?

Canadian media sources continue to turn up the heat on Amaya Gaming CEO David Baazov, painting him as the primary culprit at the heart of the insider trading allegations rocking the online gambling operator.

On Monday, the Canadian Press blasted out a headline indicating Baazov (pictured, in tie) was the “main source” of privileged info that prompted Quebec’s Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) to file 23 insider trading charges last week against Baazov, Amaya exec Benjamin Adhoot, financial adviser Yoel Altman and three companies.

As reported earlier, Baazov stands accused of funneling insider info regarding transactions with Amaya and six other companies to his older brother Josh/Ofer Baazov (pictured, in pink), who in turn passed the info on to his former bookmaking partner Craig Levett, who used the info to make stock trades that netted Levett and a dozen accomplices an estimated $1.5m in ill-gotten profits.

David Baazov has vehemently protested his innocence, and without seeing the full AMF evidence, his protestations seem grounded in reason. After all, David is Amaya’s single largest shareholder and his holdings dwarf the sum allegedly gained via the illegal trades, so why would he risk so much to gain so little?
