Virtual reality porn coming to Vegas

Virtual reality porn is coming to Las Vegas, although you’ll actually have to be in your hotel room to get your virtual rocks off.

Virtual reality smut peddlers VR Bangers have announced they’ve enlisted the help of VR wireless headset maker AuraVisor along with some Las Vegas hotels for a field trial of something called the VR Bangers Hotel Experience.

For $20, VR Bangers says hotels will provide your room with an AuraVisor headset preloaded with VR Banger’s “immersive porn” technology in glorious 1080p HD video resolution over a 100-degree field of vision.

The headsets will offer customers the option of selecting pervy content from a custom VR store linked to the Google Play marketplace. Content will reportedly begin with a knock on your virtual door, and VR Bangers says customers will be able to “see your hotel room replicated in the VR headset,” suggesting that they’ve filmed content in the participating hotels.

2016 NFL Draft Preview – A Comedy of Errors

The NFL Draft seems like one big trope. For me, it’s lost a lot of its allure. I just don’t care anymore. Tampa always drafts a defensive linemen way too early, and it fails. The Lions always screw up their selections somehow. Jerry Jones is going to (at least try to) pick a scumbag. It feels like a re-run with different actors sometimes.

So who’s going to do something unearthly stupid? Well, fortunately for us, two teams already have.

THE L.A. RAMS FLIP EVERYTHING FOR JARED GOFF

The Rams traded up from No. 15 to get the first overall pick, and shipped five additional picks to Tennessee to do this. In return, the Titans sent back the first overall, a fourth rounder and a sixth rounder.

Sportradar AG acquires core business of the sportsman media holding from Thomas Krohne and Karl Wieseneder

Sportradar AG, a global leader in understanding and leveraging the power of sports data and content solutions, has acquired the shares and core business of the sportsman media holding GmbH from the CEOs and founders of the sportsman, Thomas Krohne and Karl Wieseneder. The sportsman is one of Europe’s leading sports media rights, marketing and platform companies.

The deal agreed upon by the parties will significantly upgrade Sportradar’s offering in the audiovisual sports content sector. Last year, the two companies delivered over 27,000 live broadcasts to the betting and gaming industry. This combined portfolio will create one of the largest and most compelling audiovisual sports offerings currently available from a single provider, including premium content such as the Bundesliga, DFB Pokal and Copa del Rey in football, basketball’s CBA, volleyball’s CEV, ITF Tennis and ice hockey’s KHL, as well as some of the most important audiovisual betting content available across table tennis, badminton and many other events and event series.

Under the terms of the deal, Sportradar will acquire the sportsman media group GmbH (the sports rights and marketing agency with the sportsman’s betting and gaming services), LAOLA1.tv (the international online sports TV), LAOLA1 Multimedia (the operator of Austria’s largest sports website as well as new media service partner for clubs and organizations), and unas media productions (the live streaming and video-platform production arm), and will integrate them into the existing Sportradar business. While the acquisition paperwork has now been signed by the two parties, the deal still needs to be approved by the relevant anti-trust authorities and the current expectation is that closing will occur no later than June 2016.

Speaking about the acquisition, the sportsman media holding founder and Co-CEO Thomas Krohne said: “We have chosen an ideal buyer for our group of companies with Sportradar. The sports rights, production and platform business we set up perfectly complements that of Sportradar. The clear synergies give us confidence that the company we built up and our staff have very good future prospects under Carsten Koerl’s stewardship. This was important to us when choosing this buyer. The size and international orientation of Sportradar offer the ideal conditions for successfully developing the business we set up. “

3:Barrels: Mike Shariati Wins WPT POY; Justin Young Wins in Florida; Adda52.com to Send Players to the UK

3-Barrels of pure World Poker Tour value as Mike Shariati is confirmed as their Player of the Year; Justin Young wins the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown, and Adda52.com start sending players to the WPT500 at Dusk Till Dawn.

Three tales from the land of the World Poker Tour (WPT) starting with the news that Justin Young has won the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown in Florida.

Young joins a talented bunch of former winners including Taylor von Kriegenberg, Tommy Vedes, Kevin Eyster, Eric Afriat, and Griffin Paul. The $3,500 buy-in event attracted 1,222 players (down on last year’s figures of 1,476), and Young picked up $669,161 for the win.

Heading into the final table, and all eyes were on Cate Hall. In amongst those eyeballs were people hoping to see the first female winner of a WPT Main Event, but that was a side story. If Hall could finish third or better, then she would be overtake Mike Shariati as WPT Player of the Year.

PokerStars Leverage Somerville Appeal With New Jersey Shindig

PokerStars are celebrating their return to the New Jersey online poker market by hosting a Run It Up! Special in the Resorts Casino Hotel in partnership with Jason Somerville and a host of other PokerStars Team Pros.

PokerStars are forgetting their Amaya woes for one evening only as they leverage the super stardom of Jason Somerville to host their first live/online combo event since returning to New Jersey after a five-year hiatus.

The world didn’t end when lawmakers booted online gaming companies out of America in 2011, but it did change. Back then, PokerStars were duking it out with Full Tilt Poker, in a bid to become the undisputed market leader. These days PokerStars own Full Tilt, and is the dominant global market leader with no indication of that changing in the near future despite customer satisfaction seemingly at an all-time low.

PokerStars entry into the New Jersey market came 2.5 years later than their competitors, and yet according to several media sources, it took them less than a week to become the most prominent member of the new club. They aim to increase that reach with a little help from one of the most influential men in poker.

Calling The Clock: The Poker Boom Will Come From the East

In this week’s Calling the Clock we bring you news of some outstanding partnerships in India and China, news of an online gambling bill in Michigan, and a new signing for partypoker.

If you want to attract the most eyeballs to your game, then the sensible approach is to take your game to the place where the most eyeballs are. China and India have over 5 billion between them, and this week some of poker’s major players started making friends in that part of the world.

Global Poker League (GPL) creator, Alex Dreyfus, agreed on a strategic partnership with China’s Sina Sports, making them the “Official Digital Media Partner of GPL” in China. The Sina Sports website is the fourth most visited in that part of the world according to Alex Rankings.

The deal grants them over 400 hours of GPL coverage streamed to the Chinese public, and exclusive access to the GPL roster of players. One of those players, Montreal Nationals, Martin Jacobson, has recently returned from China where he did some work for Tencent Poker, and he told me that they treated him like a megastar. The deal will also ensure an expansion of the GPL with a Beijing-based GPL franchise expected to be born sometime in 2017.

GiH Conference Program Update: Book Today and Take Part in the Conversation!

The next few months promise to be decisive in shaping the Netherlands’ gaming regime for the foreseeable future. Ahead of the expected adoption of the Dutch remote gaming bill, secondary legislation is already being drawn up, while the Netherlands Gaming Authority continues to flesh out its licensing process.

Now that the plenary debate on the Dutch remote gaming bill has been rescheduled to May 17, 18, or 19, this year’s edition of our annual Gaming in Holland Conference will take place in the immediate aftermath of the Lower House’s vote: on June 7-8, 2016 at the RAI Exhibition and Convention Center in Amsterdam.

Due to the support of both government coalition parties, the current bill is all but guaranteed to pass the Lower House. The Gaming in Holland Conference will thus be the first and foremost event to discuss the bill’s contents and progress with national and international industry insiders, as well as regulators and legal experts. (It should be noted that the postponement of the debate has been caused by scheduling conflicts, rather than a lack of political support for the bill.)
