Judge allows Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma to run PokerTribe.com

An Oklahoma judge has finally given the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma the go signal to launch a gambling website for international players.

The ruling was handed down a month after the state of Oklahoma said it won’t stand in the way of the federally recognized Indian tribe, which plans to launch PokerTribe.com—an online gambling site that caters to customers outside of the United States.

According to a Law360 report, the tribe sued Oklahoma late last year after the state questioned if launching an online gambling site fell within the bounds of their gaming compact.

The state then turned to an arbitrator to resolve the standoff, who, in turn, determined that the tribe’s plan to host an online gaming site doesn’t violate not only the compact, but other relevant laws as well.

The golf tournament takes place June 3 on the breathtaking greens of the Biltmore Golf Course in Coral Gables and is a fundraiser for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. The event was inspired by gaming icon Jens Halle, a major advocate for gaming in Latin America and the Caribbean.

“We have been honored to produce the AGEM/AGA Golf Classic in Las Vegas for the past 18 years, and now we are taking all the fun of that annual event and spicing it up with a distinctive Latin-Caribbean flair fitting for Juegos Miami,” said event producer and JCM Global Vice President of Marketing Tom Nieman.

Kate Chambers, Managing Director (Gaming) at Juegos Miami organisers, Clarion Events, welcomed the addition of the prestigious golf tournament. “We are delighted to confirm details of the inaugural “JCM Global LatAm Golf Classic,” as part of Juegos Miami. Play like a trader – MAKERS startet Cashout

Berlin, April 20th, 2016 – Cashout (www.cashoutapp.io) brings the thrill of currency trading to a general audience through a free-of-charge gaming app for iOS. The app aims to allow everyone to understand the principles of foreign exchange using real-time data and without putting personal money at risk. Via an intuitive interface and minimalist design, Cashout makes it possible for users to dive into the currency markets in less than a minute in a fun and easy manner.

John Krehbiel, founder of Cashout: “Our vision is to make the foreign exchange markets accessible to everyone, and not just an exclusive few. Existing foreign exchange platforms dissuade those interested from ever trying their hand. At the same time many brokers push novices to begin trading with money before they have learned the basics, thus putting their capital at unnecessary risk. Cashout offers a clear solution to these issues by making it intuitive for new users to learn currency trading in a fun and stress-free environment.”

The Foreign Exchange market (“ForEx” or “FX”) is by far the largest market on the planet with over USD 5.5 trillion traded every day. By 2019, the Aite Group estimates FX volumes to near USD 8 trillion a day. In particular, the speculative retail markets have grown significantly over the past years. Today individuals and brokers speculate on trades of over USD 400 billion each and every day.

This is how Cashout works

Police say Massachusetts’ first casino fails to spark apocalyptic crime wave

Massachusetts’ first casino hasn’t sparked a rise in criminality in its surrounding communities, according to a report prepared for state gaming regulators.

Last week, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) received a report it had asked to be prepared on crime levels in the vicinity of Plainridge Park Casino, the Penn National Gaming-owned slots hall that launched in June 2015, the first of four casinos the state is preparing to welcome in the next few years.

Crime analysis expert and former Cambridge cop Christopher Bruce told the MGC that data from Plainville and five surrounding communities in the six months following the casino launch showed a mild rise in the number of traffic incidents, along with an increase in reported kidnappings and prostitution.

However, Bruce noted that these increases “clearly had nothing to do” with Plainridge Park, as the kidnappings appeared related to parental custody disputes while the prostitution rise was the result of two incidents at a hotel in Wrentham. A rise in burglary rates was attributed to two heroin-addicted serial offenders with “no casino-related motives.”

UFC 200 – Conor McGregor Retires On Twitter

Conor McGregor has reportedly retired from the sport of mixed martial arts, and the last handful of hours have been a whirlwind. Dana White has appeared on ESPN already to say that the featherweight champion will no longer be participating at UFC 200 this July, which is a huge loss to everyone on that card and the promotion itself.

However, this is a very real problem for the UFC and the scope reaches well beyond just Conor McGregor and the unfortunate incident surrounding Joao Carvalho, who died last week after sustaining head injuries in a TKO loss.

We’ve all been following how Ronda Rousey’s steadily and carefully tracked her recovery after getting blasted in the skull by Holly Holm at UFC 193. Nobody should be talking shit about that anymore.

Concussions are a big issue in sport, but death from a head injury is a fear that’s all too real for contact athletes in sports like MMA, hockey and football. We don’t know anything about the long-term impacts of concussions just yet, and McGregor is not the first athlete to walk away from money, fame and glory in order to preserve his health. He won’t be the last either.
