SoftConstruct to present a new payment gateway powered by BetConstruct

Feburary 8, London, UK: At this year’s ICE SoftConstruct is showcasing Fast Shift, a cross-product and cross-platform payment gateway with over 300 payment options. SoftConstruct CEO and Founder Vigen Badalyan says Fast Shift was designed taking into account the many years of experience we had working with hundreds of payment options and the struggle the company had when integrating hundreds of payment methods on our platform. Hence, we introduced an all-in-one-place solution that will save a lot of time and energy for many businesses.

FastShift customers will be able to easily get their payment systems regulated in their regions. Simultaneously, Fast Shift will provide an API integration and its documentation will be available on the website.

The payment gateway can be integrated with new businesses, offering them user wallets and avoiding bureaucracy and financial troubles, as well as with existing operators, offering them the utilization of either Fast Shift’s or their own wallets. We are in the process of getting Maltese MFSA license and PCI DSS.

Fast Shift is offering powerful backoffice that will allow to see all transactions, create reports, add websites that work under same merchant account. They can use the backoffice to order payout (monthly/weekly/daily) or schedule automatic payouts. VISA/Master Card will soon be available on Fast Shift.

Tabcorp profit falls on Tatts merger costs, Sun Bets suckiness

Australian betting operator Tabcorp Holdings saw its net profits fall nearly 60% in the final earnings report before its official merger with rival Tatts Group.

On Wednesday, Tabcorp reported revenue of A$1.37b (US$1.07b) in the six months ending December 31, 2017, a year-on-year improvement of 18.7% over its previous fiscal H1. But net profit after tax (NPAT) before significant items fell 20% to A$82m and statutory NPAT was down 58.2% to just A$24.6m.

The significant items contributing to that profit plunge included A$57.4m in Tatts acquisition costs, A$49m from an “onerous contract provision” in the failing UK-facing Sun Bets joint venture plus another $3.2m in Sun Bets impairment charges, A$12.4m stemming from the closure of the underperforming Luxbet online betting arm and A$6.3m from the divestment of the Odyssey video poker machine monitoring business.

The above inglorious parade of red ink would have pushed Tabcorp into a net loss for the period were it not for a A$72.8m net gain on a cash-settled equity swap.

Massachusetts to “aggressively continue” Wynn Resorts probe despite Steve Wynn’s exit

Casino operator Wynn Resorts’ share price may have bounced back after Steve Wynn’s resignation, but the company’s regulatory woes are far from over.

Wynn Resorts stock price closed out Wednesday’s trading up 8.6% to $177.32 as investors reacted positively to Tuesday’s resignation of chairman/CEO Steve Wynn. The announcement came 10 days after the Wall Street Journal broke the story of decades’ worth of sexual harassment allegations by Steve Wynn against Wynn Resorts female staff – allegations that Steve continues to deny.

Wynn’s shares still have a long way to go to regain the nearly $200 price they enjoyed before the WSJ report, and more aftershocks appear possible, particularly given the three separate regulatory probes – in Nevada, Massachusetts and Macau – into the company’s knowledge and handling of the allegations.

On Wednesday, Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) exec director Ed Bedrosian said the MGC’s probe “aggressively continues” and while investigators would “consider” Steve’s resignation as they go forward, “it will not stop their work.”

Unibet Poker wins IGA Award; launches UK tour dates

Unibet Poker’s parent company Kindred Group won the International Gaming Award for Online Poker Room of the Year in a glitzy evening in London.

It’s happened again.

The high heels, warpaint and Gladrags, came out for another night of booze-filled revelry at a gaming awards show, and PokerStars didn’t win the Online Poker Operator of the Year award.

Back in October, partypoker won the Poker Operator of the Year award at the EGR Operator Awards putting a hard stop to a three-year winning streak for Stars.

The real deal: Stephen Chidwick wins back-to-back US Poker Open $25k events

The UK-born pro, Stephen Chidwick, takes a substantial lead in the US Poker Open after winning back-to-back $25k events in a 48-hour span including the Mixed Game Championship.

Daniel Negreanu believes Steffen Sontheimer is the best poker player in the world.  The subsequent eyebrow twitching prompted Kid Poker to release a post edit clarifying his claim is limited to No-Limit Hold’em (NLHE) tournaments.

Because if we’re talking about the best player in the world, then many of his peers would hurl the name of Stephen Chidwick into the ring. I have seen them do it in the past.

For a long time, Chidwick had the words ‘The Best Player in the World to Never Win Anything’ sewn into his psyche. In the next five days, that may change.

EPL week 27 odds review: Kane gunning; Conte clawing; Lambert tightening

A look ahead at the ties between Spurs v Arsenal, Chelsea v West Brom, Huddersfield v Bournemouth and Stoke v Brighton as the battle for Champions League places and relegation heats up.

27 weeks into the Premier League season we can make a few solid assumptions. Man City will win the league and qualify for the Champions League. The other three places will go to either Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs or Arsenal.

At the other end of the table, we will see one of the tightest relegation battles for some time with West Ham, Brighton, Crystal Palace, Southampton, Newcastle, Swansea, Stoke, Huddersfield and West Brom all fighting the little corpse inside their minds telling them they are going down.

All of that means we don’t care about Burnley, Leicester, Bournemouth, Everton or Watford. For that quintet, the rest of the season is as pointless as a tobacconist.
