The Eurasian Poker Tour (EAPT) is about to drop in on Sochi, Russia. The EAPT Grand Final will be held October 19-29 at the Casino Sochi, offering 18 events and a total prize pool of more than $1.5 million.

The series will encompass a variety of games, including Deep Stacks, a High Roller, Chinese Pineapple, a Pot-Limit Bounty, 6-Max and many more. The Russian Poker Championship will get things rolling on October 19, offering a guarantee of $180,000. The EAPT Main Event will run from October 23-29 and offers a current guarantee of around $800,000 (50 million rubles).

The tour is being sponsored in part by partypoker. The online poker portal is offering a $50,000 1-year pro sponsorship to the Main Event winner, provided the player buys into the tournament with PP LIVE Dollars. The contest is open only to the first 100 players who pay the $990 buy-in with the site’s currency. To date, only 18 people have taken advantage of the offer.
