A Thanksgiving visit to New Hanover County landed a New York woman more than $100,000 in the North Carolina lottery. According to a news release, Irinea Wilson of Ogdensburg, NY, tries her luck with the NC Education Lottery whenever she visits her daughter in New Hanover County, but she never thought she would actually be a big winner.
