A resident of Swedish town Västra Götaland celebrated New Years’ Eve with a bang after winning LeoVegas’ Christmas Million competition and picking up the top prize of £25,000. This isn’t the first big win for the anonymous winner, as the same customer closed 2015 by winning the mobile casino’s Jackpot Party promotion, picking up a holiday to Hollywood in November.

The promotion was open to all LeoVegas customers depositing £10 or more during the month of December. While there were numerous winners of smaller daily prizes, the Swedish man was the only one to walk away with the top prize. In total £100,000 was given away during the competition.

The player, who wished to remain nameless, pledged to spend some of his winnings on doing something nice for his family.
