NYX Gaming will power the PokerStars online casino experience in Romania, and a 2015 World Championships of Online Poker bracelet turns up on eBay.

The Toronto-listed gambling tech supplier, NYX Gaming, has been unveiled as the drivers behind PokerStars new online casino experience in Romania. NYX has an agreement in place with fellow Canadians Amaya Gaming to deliver the latest gaming titles to PokerStars online casino via their Open Gaming System (OGS).

NYX Gaming were awarded a Class 2 license from Romania’s Oficiul National Pentru Jocuri de Noroc (ONJN) back in June, allowing them to sell their OGS platform to licensed online operators in the country.

The ONJN awarded PokerStars and BetStars’ parent company The Rational Group a license to operate in the country only last week, and their virtual doors opened up for business on Sep, 1. The Rational Group decided to cull Full Tilt from the Romanian audience.
