A new sports betting information network headed by broadcasting legend Brent Musburger is making its debut just in time for Super Bowl LI.
Monday brought word of the official launch of VSiN (Vegas Stats & Information Network), a “multi-channel network dedicated to sports gambling information.” VSiN will be beamed via web, live streaming, radio, mobile and social channels from a custom-built studio in the sportsbook of the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa in Las Vegas.
VSiN was founded by Brian Musburger, son of Brent (pictured), who announced his retirement from sports broadcasting last week. The 77-year-old Musburger plans to serve as VSiN’s managing editor and host VSiN’s main afternoon show Thursdays through Mondays, starting with a special broadcast on Sunday ahead of the Big Game.
VSiN will make its official debut at VSiN.com and via SiriusXM radio on Monday, February 27, offering five hours of live programming per day to start. In addition to Musburger Sr., VSiN has enlisted the on-air talents of boxing announcer Al Bernstein, and the company plans to announce more hosts in the coming months.
