The only listed gaming and casino company in India, Delta Corp Ltd., just celebrated its tenth anniversary. In order to highlight the occasion, the company held various activities at its properties and casinos in Goa, including at its Deltin Royale offshore casino. The events included an array of games, including poker, blackjack, baccarat and teenpatti, and featured performances by several Bollywood celebrities, as well as high-stakes poker pro, Patrik Antonius.

The poker star, who is known in poker circles as “Black Lotus” or “The Finn” for his Finnish roots, made his first appearance ever in India for the celebrations. He participated in a number of cash poker games at the Adda52 poker room located on the Deltin Royale casino and is expected to make appearances at three offshore casinos – Deltin Royale, Deltin Caravela and Deltin Jaqk – until tomorrow, giving poker players and other high rollers an opportunity to try and take him down.

Antonius is a 37-year-old professional poker player and former tennis player who has been a regular on the poker scene for years. He has been active in the World Series of Poker, the World Poker Tour and the European Poker Tour and now has more than $11.7 million in live poker action, according to Hendon Mob. In addition, he is a strong online poker player and has been seen on PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker.

In addition to Black Lotus, Delta Corp. also called upon stars such as model Shazahn Padamsee, Brazilian actress Bruna Abdullah and a number of singers, including Shilipi Paul, Neeti Mohan, Pinky Maidasani and Shraddha Pandit. All were scattered at each of the casinos during the celebrations.
