Ewa Bakun, Clarion Gaming’s Head of Content and long-time producer of GiGse, Clarion’s flagship US facing event, will moderate the iGaming panel at the East Coast Gaming Congress and Next Generation Gaming Forum (ECGC) taking place May 24-25 in Atlantic City.
Commenting on the market dynamics, she said: “The online gaming numbers in New Jersey keep showing healthy growth with the results now surpassing half a billion in revenue, as stated by Online Poker Report. The impact of the positive results on the state of iGaming in the country, lobbying efforts in states such as Pennsylvania, New York, Michigan and California and appetite to enter the market by other operators, will be some of the areas discussed by the panellists representing New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, Amaya, Rush Street Interactive, Tropicana, Borgata and Hard Rock International.”
Ewa added: “Having put together many conference discussions on this topic throughout the years that we’ve held GiGse, I’m excited now to be able to shape the conversation and truly get down to details, discussing areas such as the remaining stumbling blocks in NJ, retention of the new and younger players brought via online to experience B&M casino offering, operators’ strategies for either an early or late market entry and how the positive experiences in offering a truly convergent online and land-based product might change the message put out to legislators in states currently considering legislation.”
East Coast Gaming Congress is an annual event that is set to attract over 600 attendees, offering content ranging from strategy and investment to next generation products and technologies such as eSports, fantasy sports and social/mobile gaming. The event will feature C-level speakers representing, amongst others, American Gaming Association, Borgata Resort & Casino, Resorts Casino Hotel, MGM Resorts International, Parx Casino, William Hill US and regulators and legislators from Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, Nevada, Delaware, New Jersey, Michigan and Louisiana.
