Leading UK betting company enters into its first horseracing sponsorship

August 2017 – Grosvenorsport.com has been unveiled as the new sponsor of Saturday’s Celebration Mile at Goodwood Racecourse.

The Group Two Grosvenor Sport Celebration Mile is the highlight of Goodwood’s three-day August Bank Holiday meeting. It is a race steeped in history which has been won by the likes of Selkirk, Cape Cross and Raven’s Pass.

Following Monday’s five-day confirmation stage, a total of 16 entries remain in contention for the £100,000 contest. They include last year’s winner Lightning Spear, Qatar Goodwood Festival victor Beat The Bank and a fascinating contender in the French-trained Taareef, who has been supplemented for the race.
