Juegos Miami, the new event concept dedicated to the business needs of the Pan-Latin American and Caribbean gaming industry (May 31st – June 3rd 2016, The Biltmore, Coral Gables, Miami), has secured the support of leading transnational industry bodies relevant to the region.
The supporting associations comprise, CIBELAE (Latin American Corporation of State Lottery and Betting), ALEA (Lottery, Pool and Casino Association), Provincial Lotteries & Casinos Institute, ECA (European Casino Association), ACCJ (Chile Casino Association), CONNAZAR (National Consortium of Gaming and Gambling Concessionaires), FEDELCO (Colombian Lotteries Federation), CONAJZAR (National Gambling Commission), SCJ (Chile Superintendence of Casinos), AECJ (Spanish Casino Association) and APEJA (Peruvian Association of Entertainment & Gambling). The associations are based in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Spain.
Courtney Muller, Executive Vice-President at Urban Expositions, which is jointly organising Juegos Miami in partnership with Clarion Events, believes this latest development is another endorsement of the vision which is driving the Juegos Miami brand. She explained: “I am delighted that our vision to create a business event which is targeted to meet the very specific needs of the industry in this key region has resonated with so many key trade bodies.
“There’s no doubt that events require a number of ingredients in order to be successful and sustainable. Based on our research and our lengthy discussions with the industry, we have the right location in Miami – the gateway to Latin America, and the right timing in the industry calendar. We have secured the support of notable gaming leaders including Novomatic, Merkur Gaming, Aristocrat, BMM, GLI and Ainsworth and I am equally delighted to be able to now confirm the participation of such influential trade bodies and associations.”
