Since May 23, Macau junket investor Tak Chun Group (TCG) has been operating as a VIP gambling partner of the Macau Roosevelt Hotel’s casino. The partnership was confirmed by TCG in a phone interview with GGRAsia. The group now operates 16 VIP gaming clubs across the city.
The new VIP club offers 11 gaming tables in five different rooms. The casino is licensed under casino operator SJM Holdings and is officially called the Casino Jockey Club. SJM retained the name when the gambling operations were moved from a nearby horse racing track.
In March, the CEO of TCG, Vincent Li, announced that the company anticipates launching another Macau VIP club at the MGM Cotai resort. The moves are all part of the firm’s plan to continue expansion both inside of Macau, as well as internationally.
TCG has two VIP clubs in Manila—one at Melco Resorts-operated City of Dreams Manila and the other at the Solaire Resort and Casino, which is owned and operated by Bloomberry Resorts. In addition to the MGM Cotai club, the firm also opened a VIP club at the Okada Manila casino resort in March.
