LONDON, June 1, 2015 – Leading sports betting exchange Matchbook has signed up as the first sponsor of the Plate Trophy at the upcoming 2015 Right To Play World Cup corporate charity football tournament in London.
The Matchbook Trophy will be handed to one of the teams at the tournament at the Stamford Bridge stadium on Wednesday, June 3 – just 10 days after Chelsea FC’s superstars lifted the Premier League trophy on the same pitch.
The tournament will feature 24 teams of up to 12 players each competing in five-a-side and then seven-a-side group games before an 11-a-side final takes place on the hallowed turf.
The Right To Play World Cup raises money for weekly sports and play activities for children throughout the world, teaching youngsters essential life skills that help them to overcome the effects of poverty, conflict and disease.
